About

Reliable lawn care, week after week.

Herlim Landscaping & Lawn Care keeps yards across Northern Virginia on a regular schedule — mowed, edged, trimmed and cleaned up the same way every visit. I own the business and do the work myself, so the person who quotes your yard is the person who shows up to it, and the person you call if anything needs putting right.

You get a straight answer on price, a schedule you can plan around, and service in English or Spanish. No subcontractors, no handoffs, no chasing anyone for a callback.

Questions

Landscaping in Northern Virginia, answered.

What is included in a standard visit?

Mowing, edging, trimming small shrubs, and blowing the clippings off your walks and driveway — the same four things every visit. It is quoted as one price for the whole visit, rather than charged separately per task.

How much does landscaping cost in Northern Virginia?

Price follows lot size rather than a flat rate, so a quarter-acre in Dale City and a half-acre in Fairfax are different jobs. Text me your address and I will send a price back the same day — I can measure the lot from the address, so nobody needs to be home for a quote.

How often should I mow my lawn in Northern Virginia?

Weekly through spring, then every 10 to 14 days once summer heat slows the growth. Northern Virginia sits in the turf transition zone, where cool-season grasses like tall fescue grow hardest in April through May and again in September through October, and go semi-dormant in the July and August heat.

When does the mowing season start and end in Northern Virginia?

Mid-March through late November in most years. Growth picks up once soil temperatures hold above roughly 55°F, and the last cut usually lands after the leaves are down in November — which is why leaf cleanup and the final mow tend to happen on the same visit.

Do you take the grass clippings away?

Yes. The clippings and the debris from the visit leave with me — nothing gets bagged and left at your curb to deal with later.

Can I book a single cut, or do I have to sign up for the season?

Either works — a one-off cut and a regular schedule are both fine. Most customers settle into weekly or every-other-week visits once the season gets going, but there is nothing stopping you booking a single cut to catch up first.

Who actually does the work?

I do. I quote your yard, I run the job, and I am the one you call if anything needs putting right — you will not be handed off to a stranger or an answering service.

Do you speak Spanish?

Yes. Spanish is my first language, so quotes, scheduling and any questions can happen in English or Spanish, whichever is easier for you.

Ready for a yard you’re proud of?

Call me, or text me your address — I will look up your lot and send back a free quote the same day.
